Performance agreement for the years 2017-2019 was approved by all sponsors

The service agreement for the next three years between the Zurich Wilderness Park Foundation and the sponsors comprising the City of Zurich, the municipalities of the district of Horgen, the Canton of Zurich and Pro Natura Zurich was approved by the Founders' Assembly and signed by the Presidents of the Founders' Assembly and the Foundation Board on their behalf. The work of the foundation is greatly appreciated by the sponsors.

End of the season in Sihlwald on October 30

On Sunday, October 30, the visitor center, nature museum and restaurant in Sihlwald will close for the season. To celebrate the day, admission to the exhibitions is free. There will also be one last guided tour of the special exhibition "Well or ill. There's a herb for everything".

The toothless dormouse snails move

Following a tip-off, employees of the Zurich Wilderness Park discovered narrow, spindle-shaped miniature snails on felled chestnut trees in Langenberg. There was great joy when the expert who had been called in confirmed that the mini snails were the toothless slug, which is threatened with extinction. The rare snails will now be moved to a new location.

The little ones really big: Young animal day at Langenberg

On June 5, the focus at Zurich Langenberg Wilderness Park will be on the young animals. On Young Animal Day, wildlife messengers provide information about our wild animals and current young animals in the zoo. The program is suitable for adults and children.

The Zurich Wilderness Park is taking part in the "Abenteuer StadtNatur" festival for the first time. Wilderness park and museum train celebrate together

Many attractions await you at Sihlwald station on the Whitsun weekend from May 14 to 16: The Zurich Museum Railway is celebrating its 20th anniversary. The Zurich Wilderness Park will be opening the doors of the Nature Museum on Sunday and Monday, allowing visitors to take a look behind the scenes.
