The service agreement for the next three years between the Zurich Wilderness Park Foundation and the sponsors comprising the City of Zurich, the municipalities of the district of Horgen, the Canton of Zurich and Pro Natura Zurich was approved by the Founders' Assembly and signed by the Presidents of the Founders' Assembly and the Foundation Board on their behalf. The work of the foundation is greatly appreciated by the sponsors.

You can experience real wilderness in Romania: Untouched nature, impressive giant trees and unknown species characterize the forests. But how can this Eldorado be made accessible to tourists in harmony with nature? Employees of the Zurich Wilderness Park had the opportunity to present the concept of the Sihlwald Nature Adventure Park to the local authorities.

On Sunday, October 30, the visitor center, nature museum and restaurant in Sihlwald will close for the season. To celebrate the day, admission to the exhibitions is free. There will also be one last guided tour of the special exhibition "Well or ill. There's a herb for everything".

Following a tip-off, employees of the Zurich Wilderness Park discovered narrow, spindle-shaped miniature snails on felled chestnut trees in Langenberg. There was great joy when the expert who had been called in confirmed that the mini snails were the toothless slug, which is threatened with extinction. The rare snails will now be moved to a new location.

The Zurich Wilderness Park is taking part in the "Abenteuer StadtNatur" festival for the first time. On May 21 and 22, 2016, we will be bringing nature close to your doorstep with short guided tours and stand activities - visit us on Saturday in Langenberg and on Sunday at the visitor center in Sihlwald.
