Dogs in the Wildnispark Zurich

Dogs are welcome in the Wildnispark Zurich as long as they are kept on a lead. Please be considerate of children and other visitors and note that dogs are not permitted in certain places.

All dogs must be kept on a leash in the entire area of the Wildnispark Zürich. Exception: between Sihluferweg and Sihl. Here, dogs are allowed to run free from 1 August to 31 March. Dogs are not allowed in the following places in the Langenberg Wildlife Park:

  • Langenberg West
  • Mouse House
  • Wildcat House

In the Sihlwald area, thunderstorms are forecast for the later afternoon today, Friday 31 July. Please leave the forest in good time.

Please take care! At the moment there is a huge risk of forest fires in the canton of Zurich. Accordingly, a strict fire ban is in effect in the Sihlwald, on the grounds of the Sihlwald Visitor Center, and at the Langenberg Wildlife Park (including fireworks).
