There are now many more buses to Langenberg Wildlife Park at weekends. Line 153 now also stops at Langnau a.A., Schwerzi-Wildpark.

The Zurich Wilderness Park offers unique experiences in nature at two locations: the Langenberg Animal Park in Langnau am Albis invites visitors to meet native animals. The Sihlwald Nature Adventure Park offers a unique combination of forest, wilderness and river landscape. The Sihlwald hamlet is home to the visitor center with a nature museum, playground and fire pits.

Historical carousel

Rösslirytschuel

The Langenberg Wildlife Park currently offers a special attraction for children: from April 13 to May 26, the Rösslirytschuel is located at the playground next to the restaurant.

Built around 1880, the historic carousel is now maintained by the fire department of the city of Zurich.

The Natural forest Sihlwald

In Sihlwald, there hasn’t been any lumbered wood since 2000. About 200-year-old tree giants with 52 meter height and 3,5 meters of circumference as well as standing and recumbent dead wood offer fascinating insights into a European virgin forest.

The outdoor facilities on the Visitor Center site (wilderness playground, fire pits) and the Sihlwald forest, including the forest adventure trail, are freely accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
