Operating hours

Only in dry weather conditions at weekends and on public holiday

After the heavy thunderstorms there is a lot of loose dead wood and fallen trees can block paths. Please be careful and do not rest under scrawny trees.

Due to the ongoing heat wave and drought, there is a considerable risk of forest fires in the canton of Zurich (level 3 out of 5). We kindly ask you not to light fires in the Sihlwald. You may use the marked fireplaces in the Langenberg Wildlife Park. Please always extinguish the fire completely.

Lotti's in the Forest

Closed June 20–21 due to heat

The food truck directy next to the river Sihl

Delicious Momos, chips and chicken nuggets, salad, or maybe ice cream and coffee – «Lotti's in the Forest» has something for every Foodie.

When the weather is dry, on weekends and public holidays, the Lotti's food truck offers snacks and drinks after a visit to the Sihlwald Exhibition or a walk along the Forest Adventure Trail. «Lotti's in the Forest» is the perfect place to rest and enjoy a snack right by the Sihl.

Visitor center and Sihlwald area
The wilderness playground, fire pits, covered seating areas and the Sihlwald forest, including the forest adventure trail, are freely accessible at all times.
