For the survival of the magnificent big cat
The lynx enclosure at Langenberg Wildlife Park is one of the few that prepares young lynx for an independent life in the wild. Young lynx to be released into the wild must remain shy of humans. This is the only way they can survive in the wild.

The Förderverein of the Wildnispark Zurich are bringing the crayfish back to the Sihlwald.
Crayfish play an important role in the water ecosystem as «nature's cleaning agents» and are to be reintroduced to the Sihlwald.

The European bison enclosure in Wildnispark Zurich Langenberg is being upgraded
The ecological enhancement of the bison enclosure with trees, hedges and shrubs creates shade for the bison and habitats for sand lizards, red-backed shrikes and hoopoes.
