The most important social contacts in the life of a wild animal are related to reproduction. Whether it is courting a partner, mating or rearing and socializing the young, all these tasks enrich the everyday life of every animal in the zoo to the highest degree. On the Langenberg Day of the Society for the Promotion of Langenberg on Sunday, May 10, visitors can observe this impressively either on short guided tours or individually. The playing and frolicking of the young animals also infects the adult animals. They show more playful behavior and take on their role as father, mother, aunt or uncle. Speaking of playing: Younger guests also get their money's worth on Langenberg Day. There will be a play and craft table, and make-up artists will be happy to transform children into their favorite animal.
Special: Start the day with a brunch
The way to a man's heart is through his stomach, as the saying goes. On Langenberg Day, mothers - and fathers - can look forward to a small, delicious surprise as usual. And as a special offer, the Langenberg restaurant is offering a great Mother's Day brunch. Adults pay a flat rate of 45 francs, children between 4 and 17 years 2 francs per year of age. For reservations please call 044 713 31 83.
