in the Zurich Wilderness Park
As part of the "Abenteuer StadtNatur" festival and the "Open Day of the Nature Centres", we are presenting a varied program at Zurich Wilderness Park and inviting young and old to Sihlwald and Langenberg on Sunday, 21 May. All activities are free of charge (including admission to the Nature Museum) and registration is not required.
Sihlwald Visitor Center
We are celebrating an open day at the wild museum in Sihlwald together with 26 nature centers. We will be giving you a look behind the scenes of our nature museum: at 2 and 3 p.m. there will be short guided tours of the new special exhibition "Weasels & stoats, small animals - big hunters". In addition, children and the young at heart can make things with natural materials to their heart's content or listen to funny stories during the Punch and Judy show. You can find out more about Pro Natura's animal of the year at the red deer stand.
Langenberg
Treat yourself to 20 informative minutes each on red deer, wolves and brown bears in Langenberg: the three large animal returnees have an eventful past. We take a brief look at their history and shed light on their current situation in Switzerland.
