Langenberg Circuit Trail

One-hour circular walk to the red deer and wild boar

Season

All season

A lovely walk through Langenberg Wildlife Park with visits to red deer, wild boar, wolves, lynx and ibex.

The Langenberg circular trail starts south of the Langenberg restaurant. It leads down to the left, past the playground, between the red deer and marmot enclosures, and on towards the forest. Once in the forest, you have the opportunity to observe the wild boars. The huge antlers of the red deer on the other side are also impressive. Afterwards, a staircase leads down to the Gontenbach stream and a secluded fire pit. The trail passes the spring water castle towards the centre, but turns off shortly before it to the wolves. Then the Orelli House awaits with another fire pit and a great view of the Alps. From there, it's a leisurely walk back to the Langenberg Restaurant, past red deer, lynx and ibex.
