Felsenegg–Langenberg

Short Hike to Wildlife Park Langenberg

Season

All season

Ridge walk followed by a steep descent to the wild animals in Langenberg.

The Adliswil–Felsenegg cable car takes you gently up into the air. The terrace of the Felsenegg restaurant offers wonderful views over the city of Zurich, Lake Zurich, the Säntis and the Glärnisch. The hike leads past the Buchenegg tea house to Buchenegg. After Buchenegg, the wide hiking trail climbs slightly and leads into the forest. After about 15 minutes, a narrow footpath branches off to the left. The yellow signpost indicates the direction to ‘Langnau am Albis’. The footpath winds its way down through the forest. A short section is very steep. As soon as you leave the forest, you will spot the first animals in the Wildlife Park Langenberg: red deer and wild horses. After 5 minutes along the main road, you will find yourself in the middle of Langenberg. Here you can round off your hike by watching the wildlife, eating in the restaurant or barbecuing at the fire pit.
