Albispass–Albishorn–Albispass
Ridge Hike with Panoramic View
Season
All season
A scenic hike with distant views. In addition there are great views of the Sihlwald wilderness, the first nature discovery park of Switzerland.
Right at the start, you will encounter a short climb into the forest, past the first fire pit to the Hochwacht observation tower. The panoramic view is definitely worth the climb. Back on solid ground, you will descend via natural steps through the wild beauty of the Sihlwald forest. This is followed by the climb to Bürglenstutz, the highest point of the Albis chain, and on to the Albishorn restaurant. From there, a winding path leads down to the enchanted Albishorn Pond. At the next crossroads, take the short climb to Schnabellücke, from where you hike back along the ridge to the starting point at Albispasshöhe.
