Pro Natura Nature Mobile

The Naturmobile by Pro Natura presents the Animal of the Year 2026: the Common Hedgehog, also known as the West European Hedgehog.

During the high season, the Pro Natura Nature Mobile is stationed at the Sihlwald Visitor Centre and next to the bear enclosure at Langenberg Wildlife Park. The Pro Natura Mobile provides interactive information about the European Hedgehog – the Animal of the Year for 2026. Visitors can learn how the European Hedgehog lives, where it is found, what it looks like, and much more.

In Sihlwald, the van is open during the visitor centre’s opening hours whenever the weather is good. At Langenberg Wildlife Park, the Nature Mobile is open on Sunday afternoons when the weather is good.
