Felsenegg–Albispass

Ridge hike with gorgeous view and numerous places to stop for refreshments.

The Felseneggbahn cable car takes you from Adliswil up to Felsenegg. During the ride, you can enjoy impressive views of Lake Zurich and the surrounding mountains. The trail leads from Felsenegg towards Buchenegg, continuing straight along the Albis ridge after a short climb. Alternating views open up towards Säuliamt with the Zuger mountains and Lake Zurich with the Säntis. Along the way, the Buchenegg forest path points out special trees and shrubs here and there. After 15 minutes, you will pass the Teehüsli Buchenegg, which invites you to enjoy ‘Hüttentee’ tea and ‘Biberli’ biscuits. After Buchenegg and a short climb, the trail leads into the cool forest to the Albis Pass. From the Albis Pass, post buses run back down to the Sihl Valley.
