Sihlwald–Oberrieden
Short Hike to Lake Zurich
Season
All season
Two-hour hike through the forest and down to Lake Zurich.
At the starting point of the hike, the visitor centre of the Wildnispark Zurich offers numerous attractions for adults and children alike. The hike itself starts at the visitor centre and first passes the railway station. The road bridge takes you to the other side of the Sihl. From there, follow the Forest Adventure Trail from one adventure station to the next, uphill to Langmoos, a beautiful reed meadow. After a pleasantly cool walk through the forest, the path crosses under the motorway and leads downhill along roads and steps through the middle of Oberrieden to the two railway stations Oberrieden Dorf/See or to the boat station.
