For 20 years, nature has been reclaiming the former Zurich city forest. Even if it will be a long time before a «primeval forest» is restored, the emerging wilderness can already be experienced today: Life and decay form a constant cycle. New habitats are constantly being dynamically created and lost species are returning.
Sihlwald sponsorship
As a sponsor, you make an important contribution to the protection and free development of nature in the Sihlwald. A Sihlwald sponsorship lasts 5 years so that you can follow the changes in the Sihlwald. The proceeds will be used for the protection and long-term conservation of the Sihlwald.
Choose between three options. There is a sponsorship without an allocated plot. If you would like a sponsorship with a plot, you decide whether you would like to share it with other sponsors or have it exclusively.
- without plot CHF 500
- with a plot to share CHF 1,000
- with exclusive plot CHF 2,500
Sponsorships are donations and are tax-deductible. The prices are valid for a sponsorship of 5 years, payable once upon conclusion.
All plots have a sponsor
You will receive a certificate and a hiking map for the Sihlwald.
Once a year, we invite you to the Sihlwald for a sponsor's day.
If you wish, your name will appear on the large sponsorship board at the Sihlwald Visitor Center.
In case of a sponsorship with a plot, you will receive a corresponding map section. Would you like to know more about your plot? Book a guided tour with a ranger for CHF 250.
We will give you the illustrated book "Sihlwald - wild und schön" by Caroline Fink as a gift if you choose a plot exclusively.
