May event for the whole family
At the traditional May event organized by the local nature conservation associations, the focus this year is on the wild Sihlwald forest.
Together with the Thalwil Nature and Bird Conservation Association and the Sihl Valley Nature Conservation Association, Wilnidspark Zurich is celebrating the "25 years of the wild Sihlwald" anniversary on Sunday, May 4, at the Gattikon forest pond.
A program for the whole family
From 10:00 a.m., the post run will start, where families, children and all nature enthusiasts can test their knowledge of the Sihlwald and its inhabitants. There will also be plenty to eat and drink: the festival restaurant awaits you with tasty grilled sausages, sweet delicacies and refreshing drinks - perfect for enjoying the day to the full.
The Friends of the Zurich Wilderness Park will provide even more fun with the game "Who can crack the nut?". And if you're interested in the local wildlife, you can look forward to a real highlight: native crayfish! You can observe these fascinating animals up close and admire them in their natural environment.
