Update on coronavirus protection measures in the Zurich Wilderness Park

Langenberg area

• The zoo is open.
• The restaurant will remain closed until April 14 (including the terraces). In good weather, however, a take-away service will be offered from Wednesday to Sunday and on public holidays (11.00 am to 3.00 pm). The current operating hours are communicated on site and on wildnispark.ch.
• The Müsli-Hüsli, the Elk House, the Spring Water Castle and the Mongolian Yurt will remain closed for the time being. The visitor area near the wildcats will be marked as a one-way system.
• The minimum distance of 1.5 meters applies throughout the area and masks are compulsory for people aged 12 and over. Gatherings of more than 15 people are prohibited.
• The Wilderness Park store is open Wed, Sat, Sun and on public holidays. The number of visitors is limited.
• On Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, wilderness messengers circulate throughout the area in dry weather. They will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
• Protection concept for the animal park.

Sihlwald Visitor Center area

• The visitor center, the nature museum and the otter enclosure are open. The distance rule of 1.5 meters applies throughout the site.
• Masks are compulsory for people aged 12 and over in the indoor areas and nearby outdoor areas.
• Gatherings of more than 15 people are prohibited.
• Pro Natura's Naturmobil is open in dry weather.
• In dry weather, wilderness messengers will be on the site on Sunday. They will be happy to answer any questions or concerns.
• The Sihlwald restaurant will remain closed until April 14 (including terraces). Weather permitting, a take-away service will be offered at weekends and on public holidays between 11.30 am and 3 pm. The current operating hours will be communicated on site and at wildnispark.ch.
• Protection concept for the visitor center.

Events

• All events advertised in the annual program will be canceled until April 18, 2021.
• The "Insects" wilderness day on April 25, 2021 will not take place.
• Guided tours and group offers will not take place. No new bookings will be confirmed until April 18, 2021.
• School offers with children and young people up to the age of 20 can take place. The protection concept for schools in the Canton of Zurich applies.
