The observation tower is situated between the Albis Pass and the Schnabellücke at an altitude of around 880 metres above sea level. The tower is over 33 metres high and towers 4 to 6 metres above the tallest trees. This offers an endless panoramic view over the Zurich Wilderness Park, Lake Zurich, the Black Forest, the Säntis, the Glarus Alps, Lake Zug, the Rigi, Pilatus, the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, all the way to the Jura.
