For 25 years, nature has been reclaiming Zurich’s former city forest. Even though it will be a long time before a “primeval forest” is restored, you can already experience the emerging wilderness today: life and decay form a constant cycle. New habitats are constantly emerging, and long-lost species are returning.
Sihlwald Sponsorship
As a sponsor, you make an important contribution to the protection and natural development of the Sihlwald. A Sihlwald sponsorship lasts 5 years, allowing you to track the changes in the Sihlwald. The proceeds are used for the protection and long-term conservation of the Sihlwald.
Choose from three options. There is a sponsorship option without an assigned plot. If you’d like a sponsorship with a plot, you can decide whether to share it with other sponsors or have it exclusively to yourself.
- Without a plot: CHF 500
- With a shared plot: CHF 1,000
- With an exclusive plot: CHF 2,500
Sponsorships are donations and are tax-deductible. The prices are valid for a 5-year sponsorship, payable in a single installment upon signing up.
Every plot has a sponsor
You will receive a certificate and a hiking map of the Sihlwald.
Once a year, we invite you to Certificate Day in the Sihlwald.
If you wish, your name will appear on the large sponsorship board at the visitor center in Sihlwald.
If you sponsor a specific plot, you’ll receive a corresponding map excerpt. Would you like to learn more about your plot? Book a guided tour with a ranger for CHF 250.
We’ll give you a copy of the photo book “Sihlwald – Wild and Beautiful” by Caroline Fink when you choose an exclusive plot.
